That’s how Leon describes himself as a DJ.  Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy.  Having grown up on his DJ father’s eclectic combination of funk music ( Earth wind & fire, Chic)  , European electronica (Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan)… and his Mother love of Progressive rock ( Pink Floyd , Genesis and ELP)all which became infused with his own love for both House and Dance Music, Leon ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence.  Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding bass lines, and vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat.
With over 35 years’ experience behind the booth and radio mic , he can get you in the mood.

A very active member of his local community, Leon is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of the Essex music scene.  Though he loves playing in nightclubs, Festivals and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes.  As a promoter and radio DJ, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically.
